Joining Alberta Millwrights Local 1460 and becoming a UBC member through our affiliation with the Alberta Regional Council of Carpenters and Allied Workers (ARCCAW) is an opportunity we only extend to applicants who exhibit pride in their craft, an exemplary skill set, a dedication to productivity on the job site, a strict adherence to safety and a devotion to our code of conduct.
Applicants who have a passion for all things mechanical and love to tinker with motorized toys that they maintain and build are also encouraged to apply.
We are in the business of representing tradespeople working as Millwrights and Machinists. You can apply to become a walk-in-member of Millwrights 1460 Local if you are a Journey Person or are indentured as a Millwright Apprentice with a current Alberta Blue Book, live in Alberta and have a valid Alberta driver’s licence.

Following a review of the application, we may contact the applicant for additional information including resume, driver’s licence, safety tickets, and trade and training certifications.
