COVID-19 AND YOUR COVERAGE: A Further Extension for Millwrights’ H&W Plan Members
September 30, 2020 Update
Back in May, the Health & Welfare Trustees announced measures to assist Plan Members during these uncertain times. Those measures were extended to the end of September. As COVID-19 continues to limit employment opportunities, the Trustees are extending active member coverage to the end of the year, December 31, 2020.
• Hour banks will remain frozen, and self-payments waived, so that active
members covered for the month of September 2020 will have coverage to
December 31, 2020.
• Prescription drug coverage will continue to be increased from 80% to 90% for all drugs purchased until December 31, 2020.
The Trustees continue to closely monitor Plan Members’ coverage and claims experience. Thank you for being prudent with your health and dental expenditures; we encourage you to continue doing so.
